Universal Design in Furniture

The overarching goal for this project was to create a course to solve for the problem identified in scenario 1b. By creating a systematic process that could be implemented in four different locations within the same organization, a level of consistency across the entire organization. The course used a hybrid model which included three virtual sessions and one in-person session. Aided by subject matter experts and experts from each location, participants from various departments were able to work together in collaborative teams to complete each of the four courses. Using Canvas to create the online course provided the opportunity to explore the LMS and it allowed me to develop a great deal of hands-on experience in course development. The project was supported by Dr. Celeste Fenton and the course checklist, both of which were instrumental in the success of the course.
